Progressive Vertical Integration and consolidation of the Mineral Industries
description
Our partners are Investment Funds in the commodities and the raw material sectors, and they intend to insure long term availability and supply of commodities. They will do so by creating a strong relationship with local partners which entails, on the one hand, the financing of investments towards activity development and the making of more vertical production processes; and, on the other hand, the insuring to them and their clients of raw material long term provision and ample production capacity.
Investments will foster local activities such as mining, refinery, planning, setting up and integrating new and subsidiary production process (from extraction to the final o semi-final output). They will result in enhanced productivity and welfare, and generous remuneration to capital, labor and land allocated. We expect relevant economic and social benefits to arise in the Area concerned through:
- the building of reliable & fair relationships with local providers; - the apportion of ad hoc financial instruments towards the expansion of activities in the extraction- primary transformation-value adding chain.
As it is to be expected, prior to any agreement, local suppliers will be able to share their views on development plans with funder/investor; which are to be incorporated into the agreement. Such perspectives will include some key aspects of the project, such as:
- Improvement of production process, new plant, equipment and production techniques;. - Additional or extension of the mining activity, exploration license etc.. - Set up of new production subsidiary companies to broaden the value adding process.
Activities will include: trading in raw materials, refining plants, general industrial facilities and expansion of existing facilities. This is aimed at improving the manufacture of product and related technologies. Materials involved range from mining of minerals i.a. Copper, Manganese, Lead, Iron, Zinc, Limestone and Gypsum and of stones such as Diamond, Gemstone, Granite, Tiger’s Eye, Sugillate, Topaz, Rose Quartz, Jasper, Amethyst, Agate, Amazonian and Picture Stones. |
